Guild Meetings
Our Guild Meetings are the heart of the Waterloo County Quilters' Guild, offering a space where members can learn, and share their love of quilting. Running from September to June, our meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month and are held via Zoom, making it easy for members from all over the world to participate. No more driving in the snow or dark evenings!
Each meeting features a professional speaker who brings their expertise to our community. With access to speakers from around the globe, we ensure a diverse and inspiring lineup that covers a wide range of topics. Whether it's techniques, design principles, colour theory, or a captivating trunk show, there’s always something new to learn and explore. If you have suggestions for speakers then please feel free to share with the program committee. (Email available on the contact page.)
In addition to the speaker's presentation, our meetings include important guild announcements to keep everyone informed and engaged. We also feature a "Show and Share" segment, where members can showcase their latest projects and celebrate each other's creativity. It is fantastic to see the variety of styles within our guild.
Whether you’re looking to expand your skills, stay connected with fellow quilters, or simply be inspired, our monthly Guild Meetings are a highlight of the WCQG experience.
The zoom link for the guild meeting will be sent out the Friday before in the weekly email update.
