Barbara Pye ‘Star Table Runner’ Workshop

Time: 9:30am ET - 4:00pm ET with a 30 minute lunch break
Cost: $45 for members
Skill Level: Beginner and above
In this workshop participants will make the Star Table Runner with the Christmas Tree Centre. The skills learned making this table runner can also be used for the second table runner for which Barbara will provide a pattern. And if there is time during the day, participants will also make one block for this second Christmas Tree design.
As part of the day’s program, Barbara will also share a mini-trunk show of holiday quilts, star quilts, half square triangle quilts and lots more to show the different designs for the techniques used throughout the day.
Barbara will share a variety of accurate sewing and cutting skills that you will use in this and many future projects.
For these projects you can use your scraps or your favourite designer’s fabrics. You can also create a forest of more realistic looking trees by using a variety of green fabrics or your favourite colours. The variety of options are endless. Barbara will provide the skills. You provide your colour design element, e.g. perhaps a fall colour palette.
